Welcome to Salt Surf Life Saving Club
Established in 2004, Salt Surf Life Saving Club is one of the newest surf club in Australia.
Salt SLSC is committed to making Salt Beach one of the safest on the New Tweed Coast. Our volunteers patrol Salt Beach during the season from September through until May the following year, ensuring that the beach is safe for residents and visitors. Our patrol services are supplemented by the Australian Lifeguard Service, ensuring that Salt Beach is patrolled 365 days a year.
Salt SLSC is a strong and vibrant club that prides itself on patrol standards, surf education and junior training. The Salt nipper program, which was introduced in 2006, is developing into a highly efficient training environment, with coaching expertise being acquired from Australia wide as more people make the Tweed Coast and Salt SLSC their home. Our nipper numbers are rapidly expanding as word spreads about the high quality training, safety and friendly environment provided at Salt SLSC.
The club is also committed to the local community and our family friendly environment is a great strength. The club regularly hosts various formal and informal social functions through the year for members, supporters and local residents.
With a membership base spread right along the Tweed Coast and as far away as Brisbane, you will find Salt SLSC is a great place to be.
It is on again. The annual senior presentation dinner is being held at Mantra@Salt Beach
